Ensured Pages Pass XHTML Validation

Last evening I took the time to fix any and all coding issues in order to make sure all of the site’s pages pass the XHTML Validation (fortunately, the Cold Blue theme, which this site is based upon, validated before adding plugins and hand constructed templates). XHTML Validation is an important step in optimizing the website for search engine indexing. From here forth, any site modifications that are implemented will once again will be tested and tweaked if necessary to be XHTML compliant.

Having XHTML Validated pages gives me the confidence that the site will work in a majority of web browsers — A key factor if one is looking to acquire and keep readers. Taking the time to complete this step required about an hour of my time and will be well worth the effort in the long run. A website business where the revenue is directly proportional to its site traffic (like most passive income websites), should always perform basic steps that can optimize the site for search engines. Anything that may give you an advantage with relatively minor effort should be considered, and probably executed.
